Moyo Island, Indonesia, Asia
Nestled in a secluded bay on the remote Moyo Island, Amanwana is a private tropical hideaway where dense jungle meets turquoise waters. You'll be staying in a luxurious safari-style tent, beautifully furnished with polished wooden floors and spacious outdoor decks that immerse you in the natural surroundings. With its untouched natural beauty, exceptional service and wonderfully laid-back atmosphere, Amanwana is the kind of place that will leave you feeling you've discovered one of Indonesia's best-kept secrets.
Each night you'll feast on freshly caught seafood and Indonesian specialities served under the stars, all whilst enjoying the spectacular service Aman hotels are known for. Spend your days snorkelling and diving amongst the vibrant coral reefs, swimming with whale sharks in season, kayaking, hiking through the jungle to hidden waterfalls or simply unwinding on the relaxed beach.
Ideally you should try and visit Amanwana between April and November, during Indonesia's dry season. These months bring warm temperatures and calm seas, with ideal conditions for snorkelling, sailing and enjoying the island. The underwater visibility is excellent, meaning you can full enjoy the abundant marine life of the region. In the wetter season, the island is still lush and beautiful but with occasional tropical showers and higher humidity.
