Combine a city break in Singapore with the island of Lombok in Indonesia on our luxurious adventure honeymoon. Begin by discovering the sights and sounds of Singapore, from the lush botanical gardens to the dim sum of Chinatown. After a couple of days exploring the city you’ll fly to Lombok, a peaceful island in Indonesia, where you can get stuck into some adventure! After a few nights in a beach camp where you can cycle, hike and snorkel, you’ll embark on the trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani which has magnificent views over the crater lake. Finish your trip with a visit to the Gili Islands where you can snorkel with turtles before spending a few nights relaxing on Lombok’s beaches to relax after two weeks of excitement.

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
On arrival in Singapore you will be taken to your hotel where you will check in for two nights. Spend the rest of the day enjoying this iconic Asian city – even if you arrive late you’ll be able to check out the Gardens by the Bay where you can walk between the huge manmade trees that light up the night sky.
Today is yours to explore Singapore ; browse through the National Gallery, wander through Chinatown or go shopping along Orchard Road. In the afternoon drop into Raffles for the classic afternoon tea and a Singapore Sling before ending the night in Little India for a curry or why not go to the famous night safari at the Singapore Zoo.
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airport for your flight to Lombok. On arrival, you will be driven to your hotel where you will check in for three nights.
Nestled in the corner of Lombok, you’ll find Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp on a secluded cove between two pristine white sand beaches. This beachfront property sits in a large nature reserve with each of the eleven rooms looking out to the ocean just a few metres from the beach. Disconnect from the world in classic Indonesian style – electricity is available intermittently throughout the day so get stuck into the activities on offer like kayaking, cycling, hiking and snorkelling instead and enjoy your time here off the grid away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Made of recycled wood and bamboo, each room has luxurious furnishings with a rustic finish and it is the ideal place to unwind on your honeymoon. You won’t find wifi or televisions here but spend your evenings enjoying fresh seafood in the beachfront restaurant and meeting other guests in this tranquil environment and after a few days you’ll emerge feel renewed and rejuvenated – ready to take on a big challenge, the Mount Rinjani trek.
After breakfast, you’ll have the morning free before being picked up and transferred to Sembalun village, located at the foot of Mount Rinjani. Tonight, you will sleep in a small local guesthouse before beginning the climb tomorrow morning.
Start your trekking at 8am at the National Park office in Timba Nuh village at 600m above sea level. Here you will register your entrance ticket - your guide will explain in detail the trek route and safety procedures.
After the registration, you will begin the climb. Rest stops will be taken along the way and at Post 2 1,700m above sea level you will have lunch. After lunch you will continue your ascent for another couple of hours through the jungle to Post 3, at 2100m above sea level there are breathtaking views across to the island of Sumbawa (East of Lombok). After enjoying a rest here, you will continue for a couple of hours through grassy meadows to “Plawangan Timba Nuh”, the crater rim at 2,693m altitude. Below you will see the Sunset and amazing Segara Anak Lake and the active new volcano, Mount Baru Jari) which last erupted in 1994.
After that, down to the camping ground and here you will eat dinner, enjoy the impressive beauty of the landscape, and spend the night camping.
Enjoy the Sunrise from your camping ground and enjoy the coffee or tea and take some photos. The Team will prepare the breakfast for you, enjoy the meal and take time to rest and admire the view on the crater before staring descending down by the same way you climbed up.
Stop en route for the last lunch with your local guide team and porter.
Arrival at the Timba Nuh finish point you will be greeted by your driver, and get some cold water and a towel. After leaving your trekking and porter team you departure for your transfer in private vehicle to Teluk Kode pier and catch the boat to Gili Trawangan via Teluk Kode pier. Here you will check into your hotel for four nights and .
With three days to enjoy the Gili Islands, we recommend you spend the first relaxing by the pool or on the beach and generally recovering from your impressive hike up Mount Rinjani. You’ll be staying on Gili Trawangan, the most populous of the three islands, so just enjoy your hotel all day before walking to the beach for dinner in the evening.
When you’ve regained some energy, we’ve included a full day tour to enjoy on your second day. You’ll be taken to Gili Meno in the morning to meet a family of coconut farmers before going snorkelling on the lookout for turtles. Next, you’ll sail over to Gili Air, where you’ll have lunch by the water and you can chill on a daybed with umbrella reserved just for you! In the late afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Gili Trawangan for the night.
Enjoy your last morning in the Gili Islands with one final snorkel in the clear waters before being transferred over to Lombok for your final relaxing few days.
Spend the end of your honeymoon relaxing in luxury at Qunci Villas. Today is your final day in Lombok – enjoy your final breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your flight home.
Lombok has a tropical climate and experiences a rainy season in late October and April, climbing Rinjani can be difficult at this time. Mt Rinjani is closed between January & April. Peak season is July & August which coincides with the driest weather, during this time Lombok & Bali experience high numbers of visitors and prices will be higher.
