First, you’ll join your boutique cruise ship, the Fiji Princess for a 4 night Blue Lagoon cruise. This small ship is can navigate Fiji’s countless tranquil bays and inlets and will pull up next to islands so you can swim to shore if you wish! With only 68 passengers on board you can expect an intimate setting and attentive and personalised service at all times.
After your cruise, the Fiji Princess will drop you at the 5* Likuliku Lagoon Resort in the Mamanuca Islands for your island stay. With 5 nights on this adults-only island, you’ll be able to enjoy remarkable views over LikuLiku lagoon, fabulous food and a laid-back romantic atmosphere.

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
On arrival in Fiji you’ll be greeted with a traditional Fijian welcome and a flower ‘lei’. From here you’ll be driven down to Denerau Marina to meet the private, high-speed catamaran ‘cheetah’ for your transfer to the Sacred Islands to meet the Fiji Princess to begin your Blue Lagoon Wanderer Cruise.
The rest of your day will be spent in the spectacular Sacred Islands region where you’ll have the opportunity to swim, stroll along the beaches, kayak in the lagoon or just enjoy the spectacular backdrop. In the afternoon, learn about Fijian high tea and how to make ‘roti’ before getting back on board to enjoy happy hour at the bar and a Captain’s dinner officially welcoming you onto the boat!
Your destination today is the famous Blue Lagoon. Encircled by islands, this crystal clear lagoon is filled with fascinating coral reefs which are easily visible even from the surface!
The Fiji Princess will moor at the island of Nanuya Lailai, home to Blue Lagoon Cruises private beach. You’ll be served lunch on board while the boat is secured to a coconut tree and a Fijian style beach club is set up for you to enjoy! Complete with sun loungers, massage area, a bar and beach volleyball, here you can swim, snorkel, fish feed or look at the coral from the bottom of a glass bottom boat.
Happy hour will be served on shore tonight followed by a traditional ‘Lovo’ meal, where food is cooked underground in a specially prepared pit before being served to you under the stars!
Wake up this morning to views over azure waters or even head out for an early morning swim or kayak. After breakfast you’ll get to spend most of the day relaxing on the private beach or if you wish, you can take part in activities like learning how weave a Fijian basket, or opt for a reef safari snorkelling trip or a deeper water dive.
After a delicious buffet lunch, its back on board for a cruise to the mystical island of Sawa-I-Lau, with afternoon tea is served as you cruise. When you arrive at the island you’ll be taken on a private guided visit to the Sawa-I-Lau Caves.
This evening, we’ve included a special visit to the village of Tamusua. You’ll be able to enjoy a guided walk around the village and a Fiji village style feast where you’ll sit on mats, eat village food and share stories. Following this, there will be a movie night on the ship’s theatre deck – you can sit on a deckchair and enjoy a showing of Blue Lagoon (what else!).
This morning the Fiji Princess will head out of the bay, destined for Drawaqa Island. On arrival you’ll be able to learn a little about the local marine life and the ongoing conservation work from the on board marine biologist.
Between the months of May and October, you’ll get the opportunity to dive or snorkel and to visit the local Mantaray feeding ground to learn about these fascinating creatures! If you’d prefer something land-based, there is a visit to a local school and thrill-seekers can gain spectacular views from the island’s cliff top followed by a spot of abseiling!
This evening dinner will be a BBQ served on the upper deck, dining under the stars. A Fijian DJ will provide the tunes and all guests will enjoy a party night to celebrate your last night on board the Fiji Princess!
After breakfast you’ll begin your cruise back down towards the Mamanucas. A boat will be sent out from Likuliku Resort to collect you from the ship and take you to the next part of your trip, a stay on the beautiful Malolo Island.
You now have 4 full days to relax on this island based adults-only resort. This resort is truly designed as a honeymooner’s paradise, with large bures overlooking the clear blue lagoon you will be absolutely spoilt by the view.
After your busy time on the cruise it’s time to sit back and relax, or if its more action you are looking for the head out onto the lagoon and enjoy some snorkelling & paddle boarding or take part in some of the activities offered by the resort such as fishing, walking trails & village visits.

Fiji’s wet season is from November to April with the heaviest rains and highest humidity from December to mid-April. The Dry season goes from May to October with low rainfall, low humidity, milder temperatures and less extreme weather. Peak season in Fiji includes December, January and June, July coinciding with Australian and New Zealand school holidays – prices will peak during these times.
