    Days 1 - 4: Rio de Janeiro

    Days 15 - 18: New York Stopover

    Explore the Big Apple on a quick stopover in New York City. From your base in Midtown you’ll have time to explore Manhattan from top to toe; from the top of the Empire State Building to the galleries of the Guggenheim. Look for dinosaurs in the Natural History Museum, take the boat past Liberty Island and then take a stroll through Central Park. Tuck into some of the city's most iconic food - taste fresh lox bagels, try a slice of pizza in Brooklyn and finish with a sweet slice of New York cheesecake.

    Days 18 - 26: South West USA road trip

    Next stop Las Vegas! Set off on an iconic Las Vegas to Grand Canyon self-drive, where red rock canyons and desert landscapes surround the endless roads. Begin in Las Vegas, where you can spend a day exploring the casinos and hotels, before heading north to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, both ideal for hiking and driving in the spectacular scenery. Next, make a stop at Page, where you can descend into colourful Antelope Canyon and watch the green Colorado River as it snakes its way around Horseshoe Bend. Finish in the Grand Canyon, where the dizzying views over the vast crater will finish your USA road trip in style.

    Days 26 - 34: California road trip 

    Head to the west coast to get stuck into the outdoorsy life of Northern California with this 9 day road trip. Start in San Francisco where you’ll have time to soak up the best of the city before driving out to Napa Valley, one of the most famous wine regions in the country. Hop between sunlit vineyards and gourmet restaurants and then head to the mountains, where Lake Tahoe sits in the middle of the Sierra Nevada. After a day swimming and kayaking through the lake, drive from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite National Park – hiking, climbing and looking out for wildlife that roams the hills. This trip is a great way to experience California at its best!

    Days 34 - 42: Hawai'i island hopping 

    Explore 3 Pacific islands on this 8 day Hawaii island hopping trip. Drive or hike through lush valleys, volcanic landscapes and relax on beautiful beaches as you visit 3 of Hawaii’s many islands. From the historic memorial at Pearl Harbour to the fish-filled bays of south Oahu, you’ll enjoy exploring Hawaii’s main island for a couple of days before flying to Kauai, where the natural splendours of Waimea Canyon await before ending your trip on Hawaii’s ‘Big Island’.

    Days 43 - 51: Rarotonga & Aitutaki Lagoon escape

    Enjoy 8 days in Polynesian paradise with this week-long adventure to the Cook Islands. Spend a  few days on the mainland of Rarotonga experiencing the island's rich culture. Take part in an 'island night' to learn more about local life, or hire a car and explore the island. Next, take a scenic flight to nearby Aitutaki,  where we've included a cruise on the picturesque turquoise Aitutaki lagoon.

    With 3 nights in Rarotonga, you will have plenty of time to get to know the small main island  - its many beautiful beaches and a volcanic interior offer so much for you to explore. Besides the natural wonders, you'll soon discover the rich local culture. The regular 'island nights' are a great opportunity to learn a little more about the Islanders' Polynesian roots and culture through the sharing of food, dance, and music.

    Days 52 - 66: New Zealand campervan 

    You have 14 days to explore the spectacular landscapes of New Zealand. You could head south through the breathtaking Fjordland National Park to see the quiet beauty of Doubtful Sound, the stunning Dart River in Glenorchy and the wind-swept beaches and glittering glaciers of the west coast. Further north you could visit Abel Tasman, New Zealand’s smallest but most visited national park, for beautiful bays, offshore islands and crystal waters or work your way around Marlborough’s famous wineries. If you take the east coast route you'll be able to cycle past Mount Cook, star gaze across the vast waters of Lake Tekapo and look for whales and dolphins in the wild bays around Kaikoura. 

    Hop on the ferry to Wellington and you can continue your journey up the North Island. Stop in at the quaint vineyards of Martinborough, exploring the art deco heritage of Napier and conquering the epic Tongariro Crossing across the volcanic north island.     Days 90 - 97: Self-drive the wine route from Cape Town

    Leaving Asia behind, you'll fly to Africa, exploring South Africa on an 8 day self-drive along the Wine Route from Cape Town. Begin your journey of discovery by finding out a little more about South Africa’s recent apartheid history. With 3 nights in the city, you’ll have time to visit the historic apartheid museum or even Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for many years. To make the most of your time in Cape Town we suggest you take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for panoramic views over the whole city, then head down to V&A waterfront for dinner or drinks.

    From here, drive out into the beautiful winelands which promise rolling vineyards, gourmet food and world-class wines. You have 2 nights in both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek; Stellenbosch provides a funky vibe with its local art shops and student culture and Franschhoek is foodie heaven, and home to some of South Africa’s finest restaurants. With friendly locals and a fascinating culture, enjoy a wonderful snapshot of South Africa in just over a week.

    Finish your incredible round the world trip in Namibia on this 9 day road trip, from the sand dunes of Sossusvlei to the salt pans of Etosha. After photographing the rippling sand dunes and admiring the incredible colours of the Dead Vlei, you'll drive to the coast and enjoy a couple of nights in the colonial town of Swakopmund. Next you'll head north into the remote landscape of Damaraland, where ancient cave paintings will take you back in time in Twyfelfontein. Finish your time in Namibia with 3 nights in Etosha National Park, where you’ll look out for elephants, lions and herds of zebra in the desert landscape.
