This Brazil 2 week itinerary will give you just enough time to tick off some highlights of this enormous country.
Our classic itinerary includes an iconic Rio city break where you can take an open-top jeep tour to the Statue of Christ and Sugar Loaf Mountain. Then, you’ll fly over to Iguacu for two days exploring the mighty cascades of Iguazu Falls on the border with Argentina. Next, you’ll fly up to Manaus, the gateway to the Amazon, for lodge stay where you can spot monkeys, tapirs, macaws and jaguars in their jungle habitat.
Finally, no trip to Brazil would be complete without the beach – so you’ll fly over to the golden sands and crystal-clear waters of the area around Fortaleza for a beach break on the northeast coast. From cities to nature, to wildlife - this trip packs in all the highlights into one trip!

Welcome to the Cidade Maravilhosa! On arrival at Rio de Janeiro airport, you will be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel near Copacabana beach where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
Today we have included a fun tour of the most famous highlights of the city! Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then join a small group for an open-air jeep tour to visit some iconic Rio sights, including the Corcovado and the Statue of Christ and Sugarloaf Mountain.
Today we’ve included a day for you to Rio at your own pace. We suggest relaxing on either Copacabana or Ipanema beaches or if you feel you want to see more of what the city has to offer, why not visit the historic Santa Teresa neighbourhood? Quite bohemian in feel, Santa Teresa area is one of Rio’s oldest districts and is full of history and lovely bars and restaurants, perfect for sipping a Caipirinha and watching the world go by.
You will be collected from your hotel and driven by private transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport for your flight to Foz do Iguacu. When you land, you will be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and taken to Iguazu National Park for a visit to the Brazilian side of this natural wonder. The tour takes around 4 hours, and we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and bring some waterproof clothing. You’ll get a wide angle view over the impressive cascades from here.
You now have a full day to explore at leisure which is a great opportunity to cross the border and visit the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls if you choose.
You will be collected from your hotel at a suitable time and driven by private transfer to Foz do Iguacu airport to connect with your flight to Manaus, for your adventure in the Amazon! When you land, you will be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel where you will check in for a 1-night stay.
This morning after breakfast you will be picked up by the staff of your Amazon lodge who will coordinate the transfer to the lodge, via both land and boat. Once you arrive, check in for a 3-night stay.
Set along the Taruma River, your lodge is the perfect base for exploring the Amazon. It offers full board throughout your stay, and all excursions are led by English speaking guides. This afternoon, you will already be able to take part in your first half-day of exploration!
You now have two full days to take part in all the tours and activities that your lodge offers. You can choose from nature hikes, canoe tours, a monkey forest visit and trip to see the ‘Meeting of the Waters’ phenomenon – where differently coloured waters of the Amazon and the Rio Negro combine.
Today, you’ll be collected from your lodge and driven by private transfer to Manaus airport for your flight to Fortaleza on the northeast beaches of Brazil. Once you land, you will be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel in Cumbuco where you will check in for a 4-night stay.
Cumbuco is a charming fishing village just outside Fortaleza. It is very picturesque and has a beautiful and long stretch of sandy beach which is the ideal place for total relaxation! Why not spend this unwinding or if you feel adventurous try some water sports like kite and windsurfing!
You will be collected from your hotel at a suitable time and driven by private transfer to Fortaleza airport to connect with your onward flight back home.

The destinations featured in this itinerary can be visited all year round. However, April to June is more humid with more precipitations in the northeast and March to November is the drier time in Rio de Janeiro and surrounding. The Amazon wet season runs from December to June.
