Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
On arrival at Iguazu airport, you will be met and taken to your hotel by private transfer, where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
Today we’ve included a guided tour of the Argentine side of the majestic Iguazu Falls. Your tour lasts about 5 hours during which time you’ll walk through lush jungle along the edge of the falls for an up-close experience where you can witness the roar and power of 275 individual cascades that combine to form this natural wonder. The most dramatic section is the Devil’s Throat, where 14 thundering falls plunge as one. If you feel adventurous, you can add the Gran Aventura boat ride to get even closer to the falls.
After the tour, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel in Puerto Iguazu; a charming town with plenty of cafés and restaurants so you can have a drink and look back and admire all the photos you’ve taken today.
After yesterday’s close-up tour, today you’ll visit the Brazilian side of the falls which offers a second perspective – a much wider, panoramic view of more falls at once. With a small group and guide, you’ll spend about 2 to 3 hours touring and looking at the falls. After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
Today you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to Bariloche in Argentina’s Lake District. Once you land, you will be met and taken to your hotel where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
You now have two days to explore the pretty lakeside town of Bariloche. You could spend some time simply relaxing and soaking in the lovely scenery all around, or you can take advantage of the many activities on offer. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking or horse riding, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy Bariloche and its surrounds, including the deep blue waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi.
We suggest renting a car for the day to further explore the area including the Alpine-style town Villa La Angostura and charming, lakeside San Martin de Los Andes.
Today you’ll be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to El Calafate in the glaciers region of the country. Once you land, you will be met and taken to your hotel where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
Perito Moreno is one of the most famous glaciers in Southern Patagonia, so today we’ve included a guided tour so you can see it for yourself. For a full experience, we suggest adding a mini trekking excursion on the ice, so you can really see the glacier up close.
After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
You now have a full day to explore El Calafate. Spend your time relaxing and visiting the town and nearby nature reserves, or let us know if you’d like to add a visit to a Patagonian estancia – a working cattle ranch. You could visit the Glaciarium museum to learn some more about the natural history here, then end up with a drink at the Glaciobar where everything is made of ice!
You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to Buenos Aires. Once you land, you will be met and taken to your hotel where you will check in for a 4-night stay.
To help you explore the city, today we’ve included a private walking tour of Buenos Aires. You’ll start from your hotel in historic San Telmo with its many tango clubs, cafes, antique shops and Sunday markets – you may even see couples performing for the crowds in Plaza Dorrego. Your tour will visit some of the most important areas of the city, including elegant Recoleta and its famous cemetery, where Argentina hero Eva Peron is buried. At the end of the tour, you’ll either go back to your hotel or say goodbye to your guide and continue exploring on your own.
You have two days to explore Buenos Aires independently. You could visit La Boca, the colourful, historical neighbourhood you’ll have seen in so many photos. You could also catch a football match at La Bombonera Stadium and see how the passion for the beautiful game runs very deep here! We also suggest visiting a tango show to see the local Porteños dance the night away – while you dine on a classic steak dinner accompanied by local wines – the classic end to your classic Argentinian holiday.
You will be collected from your hotel today and taken to the airport by private transfer to connect with your international flight back home.
