    Days 1 - 4: Mexico City stopover 

    Soak up the best of the food and architecture of Mexico City on this four day stopover. Explore the historic streets, visit epic museums and taste the best tacos and chicharrón in the city on an exciting walking tour. Grab a margarita and enjoy a rooftop bar, toasting a wonderful few days in Mexico City.

    Days 4 - 10: Guatemala in a week 

    Next you'll spend a week discovering the highlights of Guatemala. Start in Antigua, where you'll stroll through the cobbled streets, admire the colourful colonial architecture and sip locally grown coffee in the sunshine. Explore the colourful textile markets of Chichicastenango before heading to Lake Atitlan, where you'll soak up incredible views of the deep blue waters and wander through local lake-side villages. Finish your trip in Tikal, where you'll learn about Mayan history at the most iconic ruins in the country - an epic way to finish your express trip through Guatemala.

    Days 10 - 18: Complete Costa Rica 

    Next you'll head south to immerse yourself in all that Costa Rica has to offer with our 9 day adventure. Explore both the Caribbean and Pacific coasts as well as Arenal National Park in the central highlands. Spot a variety of turtle species in Tortuguero before heading out into the waterways to see the local animal and birdlife going about their daily business. Hike the Arenal Volcano and spot monkeys through the tree canopy in the stunning Manuel Antonio National Park – this trip introduces you to the very best of Costa Rica!

    Days 18 - 26: Explore Panama: islands and local culture 

    Spend a week in Panama on this trip through jungles, beaches and islands. Start in Panama City, where you'll admire the iconic canal, wander through the old quarter and visit the nearby national parks to meet local tribes. After a few days discovering Panama's culture and nature, you'll head to the beach, where you can spot starfish in the turquoise water, stroll along white sands and sip a cocktail as the sun sinks into the ocean. The perfect break in the tiny nation of Panama.

    Days 26 - 33: Classic Colombia - coffee and the Caribbean 

    Finally reaching South America, your first stop is Colombia on this classic trip through the highlights of the country. Spend the first two nights in Bogotá, discovering its rich history and cultural heritage with a guided tour of the capital. You will then fly to Pereira, one of the major cities of the Colombian coffee triangle. Here, you will visit the coffee plantations, discover the local haciendas of Salento and see the gigantic palms of Valle de Cocora. Finish your trip in Cartagena, sitting on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. One of the most beautifully-preserved colonial cities in South America, with brightly coloured balconies and tumbling bougainvillaea, a visit here is the perfect end to your time in Colombia.

    Days 33 - 41: Explore the Avenue of the Volcanoes in Ecuador 

    Ecuador’s mainland is a feast for all five senses. Snow-capped volcanoes emerge from lush green valleys and you’ll find some of the best preserved and most beautiful colonial cities in the continent. During your 9 days in Ecuador, you’ll travel down the very spine of the country, known as the Avenue of the Volcanoes. It runs 200 miles south of Quito between two parallel cordilleras and contains seven peaks above 5,000 metres high.

    Ecuador’s position on the equator makes it a world of contrasts. You will travel through tropical landscapes rich with orchids and palm trees, while the snow-tipped Andes tower in the background. You will ride the famous Devil’s Nose Train, visit the thermal town of Baños and explore Cuenca, one of the most beautiful colonial cities in South America. Along the way, you’ll travel with a private driver and guide, sleep in traditional haciendas and be charmed by the friendliness of the local people.

    Days 41 - 47: Ancient Peru with Machu Picchu 

    This classic Peru trip includes Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and a visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Arrive in Lima where we’ve included a city tour to introduce the nation’s capital, its main sights and its growing food scene. Next, you’ll fly to the colonial city of Cusco for a few days exploring this city, its importance an Inca city and colonial centre, and the nearby Sacred Valley. Find out how native llamas and alpacas are used in modern life and visit the impressive Ollantaytambo fortress. Finally, you’ll arrive at Machu Picchu, with plenty of time to wander around and explore for yourself. This short trip introduces you to the capital and the Inca heart of Peru in an unforgettable way!

    Days 47 - 55: Crossing the Andes - Santiago to Mendoza

    Next, you'll travel from Santiago to Mendoza on this 8-day wine tasting itinerary that takes you from the Chilean capital into Argentina's wine region. Start with a relaxed couple of days staying in a winery in the Chilean wine valleys before visiting the picturesque coastal town of Valparaiso. This pretty seaside town is known for its colourful houses and many funicular railways which link the city’s steep suburbs – perfect for a day’s exploring. Next, you'll cross over the spectacular Andes mountain range from Santiago to Mendoza in Argentina, passing through ever-changing landscapes and lush, rolling vineyard estates. Packed to the rafters with colonial architecture, delicious steak restaurants, dance and theatre, art, bohemian districts and incredible food markets, this sprawling metropolis is home to over one-third of the country’s population yet retains a homely neighborhood feel in the barrios. Admire the colourful houses in La Boca, taste fresh pasta in San Telmo Market and stroll through the Recoleta Cemetery to find Eva Peron's tomb. It's the perfect end to your incredible adventure through Central and South America.
