Begin in Santiago, where you’ll have a day to discover the capital, nearby Valparaiso and the beaches of Viña del Mar, before flying south. In Torres del Paine, we’ve included an amazing stay at Ecocamp Patagonia, the world’s first geodesic dome hotel that’s also 100% sustainable! With all meals and lots of activities included, you can discover the stunning mountains, lakes and glaciers of southern Chile.
Next, you’ll fly to the remote and secluded Falkland Islands, rich in history and with such diverse wildlife from penguins to sea lions and many native birds. If you’re looking for an off-the-beaten-track adventure, this itinerary ticks all those boxes by visiting some far-flung destinations only a few people ever reach.

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
On arrival at Santiago airport, you’ll be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel where you’ll check in for a 2-night stay.
In the afternoon, you’ll be picked up and taken on a private tour of the city to visit the most famous landmarks, markets and to taste and drink some of the country’s specialities.
You’ll be picked up this morning for a private tour to Casablanca wine valley and to taste some of the prestigious local wines. Next, you’ll visit Viña del Mar, one of Chile’s most popular beach resorts; then you’ll finish the day in Valparaiso - with its steep hills and colourful neighbourhoods. We’ve included lunch at a local restaurant.
This morning, you’ll be collected and taken by private transfer to Santiago airport for your flight to Punta Arenas in southern Patagonia. Once you land, you’ll be met and taken by shared transfer to your next stay - Ecocamp Patagonia, inside Torres del Paine National Park.
The drive is around 5 and a half hours, but you’ll stop along the way. Visit Milodon Cave, where a giant sloth lived in prehistoric times, and stop again in Puerto Natales for lunch. Once you get to the Ecocamp, You’ll check in for a 3-night stay in this amazing property.
Ecocamp is a unique property, and it is the world’s first geodesic dome hotel! Your stay is on a full-board basis, and you’ll sleep in award-winning, eco-friendly and completely sustainable geodesic domes. Meals are served in larger, community domes with views over the majestic hills. There are even a dome bar and yoga dome where you can take free yoga classes during the day!
Your stay includes a variety of excursions at different levels, so you can choose from cycling, trekking or sightseeing. You can visit the base of the park’s granite towers and see the Grey Glacier.
This morning you’ll have breakfast at Ecocamp and then you’ll then be taken by shared transfer to your hotel in Punta Arenas where you’ll check in for a 1-night stay. Punta Arenas is a quaint town at the north end of the Strait of Magellan and is known for its local culture.
Today you’ll be collected from your hotel and driven by private vehicle to Punta Arenas airport for your flight to Stanley, in the Falkland Islands. When you arrive, you’ll be met and taken by private transfer to your hotel where you’ll check in for a 1-night stay.
Today you’ll be driven to the nearby airport to take a domestic flight to Pebble Island where you’ll spend two nights.
Your stay is on a full-board basis and includes a full-day guided tour, so you can choose from excursions that will introduce you to the island, its huge variety of birdlife, some great hikes and some fascinating war history.
After breakfast, you’ll catch a flight to Sea Lion Island in the southeast of the archipelago; a low-lying land with spectacular cliffs at the southern end. The island is important to birds, but more impressively 95% of the Falklands’ elephant seal population live here!
We’ve included a two-night stay here so you can explore the island at leisure, and we can add an intro tour if you choose. All your meals are included with your stay at the lodge.
Today after breakfast you’ll fly back to Stanley. Once you land, you’ll be driven by private transfer to your hotel where you’ll check in for a 2-night stay.
For your last grand adventure, you’ll visit Volunteer Point, a privately owned nature reserve that’s home to the archipelago’s largest breeding group of king penguins! You’ll have the rare experience of seeing these penguins in their natural habitat – a real highlight of your trip.
After the tour, you’ll be taken back to our hotel for your last night in this land of remoteness, culture and natural beauty.
Today you’ll be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport for your flight to Santiago. When you land, make your way to your airport hotel for your last night.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then make your way to the airport for your flight back home.

The best time to travel to enjoy this itinerary to the full is between October and April. November to February is likely to be the best time in the Falklands as the weather and temperatures will be more pleasant.
