    Day 1: UK to Mauritius

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.

    Included: International flights

    Days 2 to 5: Mauritius

On arrival in Mauritius, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, where you will check in for five nights. Your time here can be spent doing as much or as little as you like. If you want to keep busy, you can keep your days filled with water sports, cycling and yoga each morning but if you are here to relax then sit back by the pool with a cocktail and soak in the wonderful ocean views. On your fourth day, we’ve included a catamaran cruise – sailing along the shore with views of the scarlet sunset splashed across the sky is sure to be a highlight of your trip.

You’ll be staying at the Paradise Cove Hotel, a lovely 5* boutique hotel. Part of the ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’ group, this property and it’s staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are airy and modern, while still retaining a charming atmosphere that really is echoed around the whole resort, from the four classy restaurants to the beachside bar.

Included: Paradise Cove Hotel, breakfast, dinner, transfers

    Day 6: Mauritius to Seychelles

After breakfast, you will be driven back to the airport in time for your flight to the Seychelles. You will be met at the airport and taken to the ferry port, to catch the hour-long ferry to Praslin. It's a scenic journey and on arrival you'll be met and taken to your hotel, checking in for three nights.

Included: International flights, transfers, ferry, Indian Ocean Lodge

    Days 7 & 8: Praslin

Praslin Island is the second-largest of the Seychelles’ islands and boasts a tranquil, laidback atmosphere. Stretching for almost 40 square kilometres, the island is full of lush and tropical jungle, fringed by sugary beaches and lapped by turquoise waters. Rumoured to have been a pirate hideout in the 1700s, today it is a popular island for visitors, thanks to the friendly locals, pretty beaches and ancient palm groves.

During your time here, we've included a cruise, sailing around Praslin’s satellite islands, exploring Cousin, Curieuse, and St. Pierre. Spend the day taking guided walks through two nature reserves, where you’ll spot turtle nests, rare endemic birds and meet the iconic giant tortoises of Curieuse. Play with your family on the beach before enjoying a delicious lunch aboard the catamaran. Finish the day at St. Pierre where you'll snorkel amongst a kaleidoscope of tropical fish. A perfect experience for nature lovers and families wanting to experience Seychelles incredible marine life.

Included: Breakfast, three island cruise, Indian Ocean Lodge

Day 9: Ferry to La Digue

Today you'll be picked up from the hotel and driven to the port, to hop on the ferry to the tiny island of La Digue. On arrival, you'll be taken to your hotel, Le Nautique, where you'll check in for four nights.

Le Nautique is a little gem of a place.  It’s got everything on the doorstep including bike hire, bars and the best restaurants in La Digue (including Le Nautique’s which is exceptional).  With just 10 rooms, it's the perfect place to relax with your family - we particularly recommend the seafront rooms with a west-facing terrace out the front.  Enjoy their cute little bar, pool and magnificent sunset cocktails.

Included: Breakfast, transfers, ferry, Le Nautique

    Day 10: La Digue

The small island of La Digue is a car-free paradise. Once you arrive, you’ll feel the pace of everyday life slow down - all that matters is the white sand, the turquoise water and picking a ripe passionfruit for breakfast. It’s not the kind of island where you really get up to much – you should spend your time here wandering along beaches, meeting locals and tasting their creole street food or diving into the ocean to snorkel amongst the colourful fishes.

The air is sweet with vanilla as you cycle through around the island - our favourite beach to discover is Anse Source d’Argent. This boulder-strewn beach is breathtakingly lovely – the perfect spot for a late afternoon drink on the sand, watching the sunset into the water.

    Included: Breakfast, Le Nautique

    Day 11: Ferry to Mahe

After breakfast, you will be driven to the port to catch the ferry over to Mahe. Here you will be met and taken to your hotel, where you will check in for four nights.

Every vibrant chalet at Carana Beach enjoys a view of the striking blue sea on Mahe. This contemporary boutique hotel is an authentic Seychellois sanctuary, with local accents everywhere. All beaches in Seychelles are public, but Carana’s patch of paradise is one of the most private you’ll find. Ease into their casual yet chic ambiance, where you can dine, unwind and recharge.

Included: Breakfast, transfers, ferry, Carana Beach Hotel

    Days 12 & 13: Mahe

You’ll have two full days to explore the beautiful island of Mahé, where soft beaches sit alongside lush jungle and coconut palms sway in the breeze. There is even more beauty below the water – colourful reefs filled with clouds of pink and yellow fish, where manta rays glide slowly past.

Why not head out to hike along the lush trails of Morne National Park. There are so many spectacular walks here. The forests are full of jackfruit trees and fluttering sunbirds, as well as the world’s smallest frog – though they might be too small to find, you’re sure to hear their loud chirruping calls.

On one of your days in Mahe we've included an exciting cruise, discovering pirate graves, giant tortoises and colourful reefs. Snorkel in St Anne Marine Park, where you’ll swim with shimmering fish, look for turtles and even head out in the semi-submersible to explore further. Tuck into a tasty Creole lunch on the catamaran before heading to Moyenne Island, where you’ll spot giant tortoises amongst the trees. Hike along the nature trails or simply relax on the beach for the rest of the day.

    Included: Breakfast, Carana Beach Hotel

    Day 14: Depart Seychelles

After breakfast, you’ll be driven back to the airport for your flight home.

    Included: International flights, transfers

    Day 15: Arrive UK

Mauritius has a mild tropical climate all year round, with not much variation in temperature. November to April is generally a little more humid with June to September being slightly cooler. The higher you climb into the lush plateau of the island, the cooler it will become, but around the beaches, you can usually expect warm and sunny weather.

The Seychelles has two main seasons: the wet and hot monsoon season from November to March, brings rain and hot weather, as well as ensuring the islands are lush and green. From April to October, it is much drier, peaking in July and August, when the temperatures average 27 degrees. During this time the water can be a little choppy.
