There are four distinct seasons in Southern Queensland. Summertime runs between November & February when the weather will be very hot and sunny, Brisbane & the Whitsundays enjoy the sunshine and blue skies at this time. Prices will be at a premium over the Christmas and New Year holidays and availability limited so be sure to book in advance. March-May & Sept-Nov (Autumn & Spring) can be a great time to visit with weather milder and pleasant and crowds fewer.
