    Day 1: Depart UK

    Depart the UK from your chosen airport.

    Day 2: Arrive in Brisbane

    On arrival in Brisbane, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, where you will check in for two nights.

    Day 3: Brisbane

    Today is free for you to enjoy the city of Brisbane. Enjoy ice cream and stroll along the waterfront, ride the Citycat boat along the river or head to Streets Beach to take a dip in the lagoon. Hop on the cruise along the river to visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary or head to the Gallery of Modern Art before dinner at Eat Street where you can take delicious street food from all over the world.

    Day 4: Drive to the Glass House Mountains

    This morning you’ll pick up your hire car and drive north into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Spend the day exploring the Glass House Mountains National Park - soaking up the peaceful landscape, looking for birds in the forest and hiking to nearby Mount Ngungun to enjoy the breath-taking views. By the afternoon, make your way to Australia Zoo, made famous by Steve Irwin and home to hundreds of animals from Australia and the rest of the world. You'll be checking into their Crocodile Hunter Lodge, ready to explore the incredible zoo tomorrow.

    Day 5: Australia Zoo 

    Today is dedicated to exploring the world's most famous zoo! It will be an unforgettable day - why not start by exploring the African exhibit, where you can spot giraffes and rhinos before heading to the Crocoseum. Watch the famous wildlife show with saltwater crocs, snakes and even birds of prey. Enjoy lunch in one of the cafes before spotting kangaroos, wombats and the elusive duck-billed platypus up close! Stroll through the rainforest aviary to look for colourful birds - this day at the zoo will blow your kids away!


    Day 6: Drive to K'gari

    Leaving the animals behind, today you’ll drive north to Hervey Bay, the entry point to K'gari. After parking your car, you’ll catch the ferry over to the island and check into your hotel for two nights. Head straight to the beach or enjoy a nature walk with one of the resort's guides to discover the flora and fauna of the largest sand island in the world!

    Day 7: K'gari

    You’ll enjoy a full day tour of the island today, from the comfort of a 4WD vehicle. Swim in the clear water of freshwater Lake McKenzie, hike through the brush box forests of the Pine Valley and explore the rusty shipwreck on Seventy Five Mile Beach – a day exploring this unique island will go by in a flash. It's the perfect way to take in as much as you can whilst exploring with your family.

    Day 8: Drive to Noosa

    After breakfast, you'll hop back on the ferry to Hervey Bay, before making your way south to the beach town of Noosa. Depending on what time you arrive, why not head out for a hike in Noosa National Park, where coastal trails take you to secluded beaches and scenic spots with sunset views over ocean.

    Days 9 & 10: Noosa

    You have two free days to enjoy the quiet coastline of Noosa. Get ready for endless beaches, and keep an eye out for whales swimming out in the ocean. Why not gather some supplies and enjoy a barbecue on the beach? The nearby Noosa Everglades are a highlight here - kayak or cruise along the narrow waterways that snake their way through the wetlands. 

    Visit one of the popular beaches to hire a paddleboard or enjoy a swim before heading into town for a fresh seafood lunch at one of the stylish cafes. Noosa is a great spot to relax and have fun with the whole family.

    Day 11: Fly to Hamilton Island

    Spend a final morning in Noosa before driving back to Brisbane for the short flight to Hamilton Island. Here you'll be met and driven to your apartment, where your family will check in for five nights.

    Days 12 - 15: Hamilton Island

    Enjoy your time relaxing in the paradise of Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef. Whether you choose to snorkel on the colourful reef, kayak through the clear waters or unwind at the beach, the whole family will fall in love with this island. We’ve included a morning cruise to Whitehaven Beach, the most famous stretch of sand in the Whitsundays where you can relax and play for a couple of hours in this breath-taking scenery.

    Day 16: Depart Hamilton Island

    This morning you’ll be driven back to Hamilton Island airport for your flight home.

    Day 17: Arrive UK

    Southern Queensland is a year round destination, with warm weather and beautiful places to explore. Hamilton Island is better to visit between May and October, when the dry season engulfs the northern part of Australia and the sunshine is almost guaranteed!
