Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
To give you time to catch up on your sleep after such a long flight, we’ve included a night at a hotel near Sydney airport, before you collect your campervan the next day.
If you’re keen to stay in Sydney before hitting the road, we can add more nights here.
Your days here are free to do as you choose. Wander through Hyde Park, visit local wildlife at the Sydney Aquarium in Darling Harbour or simply enjoy a drink and soak up the view of the Sydney harbour by the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
We've included the Burrawa BridgeClimb, where you'll discover the aboriginal history of Sydney as you climb the iconic Harbour Bridge. Burrawa is a local Aboriginal word that means 'above' or 'upwards'. During this spectacular experience, you can admire unrivalled views of the Indigenous landmarks around Sydney Harbour including Bennelong and Barangaroo, while hearing the stories of Australia's First Nations people. Your guide will tell stories about local history from an Aboriginal perspective whilst looking down on the shores where Patyegarang taught William Dawes the language of Sydney.

Finish with a couple of nights in Byron Bay, where you can eat at chic cafes on the beachfront and try your hand at surfing in the gentle waves. This is one of the most popular coastal drives in Australia - you'll soon see why.
Spend your final day exploring with your campervan, whether you're beach hopping along the Gold Coast or hiking amongst the waterfalls in Lamington National Park. Drop off by late afternoon and check into your airport hotel, ready for your flight to the reef tomorrow.

There are four distinct seasons in Sydney & Southern Queensland Country. Summertime runs between November & February when the weather will be very hot and sunny, Brisbane & the Whitsundays enjoy the sunshine and blue skies at this time. Prices will be at a premium over the Christmas and New Year holidays and availability limited so be sure to book in advance. March-May & Sept-Nov (Autumn & Spring) can be a great time to visit with weather milder and pleasant and crowds fewer.
