Mowani Mountain Camp

Mowani Mountain Camp is a unique lodge located in the heart of Namibia, offering an authentic and luxurious experience whilst surrounded by some of the most impressive landscapes in the country. Spend your days visiting the ancient rock carvings in Twyfelfontein, searching for desert-adapted elephants and giraffes in the wilderness and meeting local people to learn about the traditional customs of the Damaraland region.

At Mowani, each thatched room is a little oasis, with large beds, air-conditioning and private viewing decks, to soak up the extraordinary views over the rugged rocks. Lounge by the small pool or stay in The Rock Suite and the Mountain Suite, which have their own small splash pools to relax in private. Stroll along the short walking trails where you can learn about local flora and trees and dine under the inky sky on grilled meats and flavoursome stews with a cold glass of South African wine. Finish each evening telling stories round the fire and watching the sunset over the desert.
