In the evening, we’ve included a catamaran cruise out on the ocean, where you’ll sip champagne and watch the sun tuck itself behind the horizon in a splash of pink and orange.
Today is your final day in Florida, so you’ll drive back to Miami Airport and drop off your rental car in time to catch your onwards flight.
The idea of Florida brings to mind clear skies and sunny days. The Sunshine State is well known for its warm weather and cheery outlook. It’s handy to remember that the hurricane season lasts between June and November, although in practice this just means that sunny days are peppered with rainy downpours and strong winds from the Caribbean. If you are planning to visit Orlando, winter is an ideal time to travel, as the amusement parks are usually quiet, with kids at school. However, December doesn’t bring beach weather, so if you’re looking to relax on the sand, March to May is the best time of year to book a trip.
