This 7-day round-trip from Toronto packs in a selection of Canada’s top sites! Explore the metropolitan city of Toronto, take the perfect picture by the thundering falls at Niagara and witness the gothic architecture in the capital, Ottawa before enjoying a light show over the top of the parliament building, a perfect way to end your week long trip in Canada!
Your trip begins with a city tour of Toronto, followed by a full-day tour to Niagara Falls including a Niagara cruise and wine-tasting. Next, you’ll be whisked off to the Canadian capital Ottawa by train, business class of course!
Here you can see the magnificent Gothic-styled Canadian parliament, take a river cruise to learn more about the city, and in the evening, witness the sound and light show over the parliament buildings. A whistle-stop tour of two Canadian cities in just a week!
Upon arrival in Toronto, make your way to your hotel where you will check in for your 3 night stay. You have some time to begin exploring the city or just relaxing at your hotel.
Today we’ve included a 24hr Hop On Hop Off bus ticket so you can spend the day exploring Toronto onboard double decker buses & trolleys. There are many stops to choose from including Younge-Dundas Square, Casa Loma, The Royal Ontario Museum, CN Tower North, Meridian Hall/Hockey Hall of Fame, St. Lawrence Market and Distillery District. A harbour and islands cruise is also included between May & October.
Today you’ll head to one of the area’s main attractions - Niagara Falls for a full day tour. You’ll be taken from Toronto for a full day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world.
Your tour includes a Hornblower cruise or a ‘Journey behind the Falls’ tour, as well as plenty of time to take in the sights and sounds of Niagara-on-the-lake at your own pace.
A meal overlooking the falls is a fantastic highlight of today, but it doesn’t stop there; you’ll have the chance to visit a local winery for a spot of wine tasting, before heading back to Toronto.
This morning you’ll leave Toronto and make your way to the Canadian capital, Ottawa by rail. You’ll cross Ontario and enjoy lunch on the train.
The rest of your day is free for you to explore Ottawa. We recommend heading to Parliament Hill (home of the Canadian parliament) and some of the finest Gothic-revival architecture.
Today is free for you to wander the streets of Ottawa. If you’re visiting during the summer, be sure to return to the Parliament later in the evening, where you can watch the sound and light show that takes place here each night.
It’s time to return to Toronto, again by train with your lunch on-board included. Upon arrival in Toronto, you can check in for your one night stay.
The remainder of your day is free to catch anything you missed the first time around!

Weather can be variable at all times of the year in Southern and Eastern Canada. The South (including Toronto & Ottawa) is the most densely populated part of the country and this combined with its southerly latitude makes for the warmest part of the country. The Great Lakes tend not to freeze over until Mid-December. Winter brings the snow and the weather can be pretty severe. Summers are quite warm with considerable amounts of sunshine. High season falls in the summer months here, with lots of tourists visiting and room rates at a premium. Crowds drop and temperatures are cooler during May, September and October which can make for a pleasant time to visit, although be aware some activity opening hours may be restricted. Ski resorts peak again during the winter months.
