Depart the UK from your chosen airport. You will arrive in Los Angeles later today. On arrival, you will make your own way to the hotel and check in for 3 nights.
You’ve got 3 days to explore Los Angeles. We’ve based you in West Hollywood, the coolest area of the city, with buzzing bars and delicious restaurants on every corner. When you want to venture further afield, the rest of LA is on your doorstep, whether you want to head to Santa Monica to ride the Ferris wheel for clear views down the coast to Malibu or cycle down the Venice boardwalk past quirky shops and street performers. The glitz and glamour of Hollywood isn’t far away – make sure you check out the Walk of Fame and Universal Studios.
On your second day, we’ve included a sunset hike to see the Hollywood Sign, so you’ll have a lovely opportunity to watch the sun set over the city under the iconic sign.
Spend the morning enjoying your final few hours in Los Angeles. In the afternoon you will make your own way to the airport to fly to Fiji. You’ll arrive two days later, as you cross the international date line.
On arrival in Fiji, you will be met at the international airport and guided to the Kokomo luxury transfer lounge. Designed to provide a seamless experience, you have the opportunity to have a shower and some food before your flight. The journey to Kokomo is around 60 minutes, in a private seaplane or helicopter.
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed to the resort and check into your beautiful villa for 7 nights. Spread along the island’s beach, the spectacular villas offer complete privacy with endless ocean views. Perfect for couples, each villa boasts a private infinity pool, a spacious sun deck and a tropical garden.
With a week to enjoy the spectacular Kokomo Island, you can do as much or as little as you please. Turquoise waters will tempt you in immediately – you can snorkel, dive, kayak and surf in the crystalline ocean. Take a glass-bottomed boat to view the colourful coral below the waves or head out on a romantic sunset cruise – the perfect way to end a beautiful day in Fiji. Relax with an early morning yoga session by the water or head to the spa for a luxurious couples massage.
You’ll also be able to experience the wonderful culture and famous hospitality of the Fijians. Take a tour of the local village where you can experience an authentic welcome ceremony, share kava with the village chief and learn about the traditional Fijian lifestyle. The Fijians will welcome you with open arms and hearts – you’ll never forget the experience you have in this beautiful nation.
Back in your villa you can enjoy private in-room dining, swim in your private pool and soak up the gorgeous ocean views from your sun-drenched garden. Depending on the time of year, you can watch the humpback whale migration as they pass right by Kokomo Island, or swim with majestic manta rays in the warm waters off the coast.
After a final delicious breakfast by the sea, you’ll head back to Nadi, by seaplane or helicopter. From here you’ll catch your international flight home.
Fiji’s wet season is from November to April with the heaviest rains and highest humidity from December to mid-April. The Dry season goes from May to October with low rainfall, low humidity, milder temperatures and less extreme weather. Peak season in Fiji includes December, January and June, July coinciding with Australian and New Zealand school holidays – prices will peak during these times.
