Overview

If you're looking for a luxury holiday, look no further! With a luxury Los Angeles city break, followed by some luxury island action in Fiji, this trip is designed for both exploring and relaxing.

First you'll spend a few days in the Californian city of Los Angeles; visit the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, explore the city's historical venues and perhaps spend an afternoon strolling along the pier in Santa Monica. Shop, sightsee and enjoy some fine dining, knowing you'll feel comfortable and relaxed with your stay in a 5* LA hotel.

Next stop is the South Pacific! We've included a 10-day absolute paradise escape to the Fijian islands. Spend 5 nights unwinding in Fiji's spectacular Mamanuca Islands at the Likuliku Resort in full-board luxury' swim, snorkel and sunbathe in endless sunshine, before heading back to the mainland for a further 4 nights of Fijian hospitality.

Itinerary in brief:

Day 1: Arrive in Los Angeles

On arrival in Los Angeles you will be collected and transferred to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy the facilities before heading out to enjoy the city’s exotic array of restaurants.

Day 2: Los Angeles

Today you’ll embark on a city tour of LA where you can experience the glitz and glamour of this star-struck city. Hollywood is the most famous neighbourhood, where the Walk of Fame and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre are watched over by the iconic Hollywood Sign. You’ll explore the city’s historic venues, like the famous Hollywood Bowl and The Staples Centre, home to the Los Angeles Lakers. This city tour will take in the best of LA, delivering you home tired but satisfied with your experience of the 'City of Angels'.

Day 3: Los Angeles

Today is a free day so you can explore the city any way you like. Why not take a taxi to Santa Monica and spend the morning exploring the boutique shops and famous pier? Hop on the rollercoaster or the Ferris wheel for stunning views all the way down to Muscle Beach before venturing along to Venice Beach where you can grab a smoothie and people watch amongst the weird and wonderful sights of the boardwalk. End the day with a drink on the beach and dinner overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Day 4: Depart Los Angeles

Your time in Los Angeles has come to an end – today you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onwards flight.

Day 5: On board flight

Day 6: Nadi to Malolo Island

On arrival into Nadi airport you will be greeted with a friendly ‘Bula’ welcome and transferred to Denerau Marina in an air-conditioned vehicle to catch your boat over to Malolo Island.

Your boat ride will take approximately 1 hour and gives you a chance to see this stunning chain of islands for the first time, so sit back, relax and enjoy the view as you cruise towards Malolo Island.

On arrival to the island you will be greeted and taken to check in at the resort. The rest of the day is at leisure, so take a walk, have a nap or check out your surroundings.

Days 7,8 & 9 – Malolo Island

There is an array of activities on offer at the resort to keep you busy during your stay. You will have complimentary use of all non-motorised water sports equipment including windsurfers and paddle skis plus use of the snorkelling equipment (perfect for checking out the marine life who live off the coast!)

There are plenty of excursions on offer at Likuliku including fishing, village tours and dolphin spotting. Alternatively you can relax on the beach or by the pool and make the most of this island paradise!

Day 10: Malolo Island

It’s your last day at Likuliku so why not spoil yourself with a trip to ‘Tatadra Spa’. This luxurious and tranquil the spa is set against lush, green slopes with stunning views of the lagoon. With many natural beauty and body treatments to choose from, you'll be able to enjoy ultimate indulgence!

Day 11: Malolo Island to Denerau

You will be collected this morning and taken by boat back to Denerau, on arrival you will be greeted and taken to your hotel on the mainland.

After check in, you'll have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12: Whale’s Tale Cruise

Today you can take a full day's excursion on the 100' schooner ‘Whale’s Tale’.

Once you've boarded the boat at Denerau Marina it’s time for a champagne continental breakfast while you sail into the Mamanucas. The cruise heads out to the Blue Lagoons and beaches of the Mamanucas before visiting an exclusive uninhabited island paradise!

This all inclusive day includes snorkelling, a gourmet buffet lunch, all drinks and entertainment. The day ends with drop off back in Denerau at 5pm.

Day 13 & 14: Denerau

You have two days now to relax and enjoy the resort, lounge by the pool, explore the local area or indulge at the hotel spa.

Day 15: Depart Nadi

Your time in this island paradise has come to an end, so you'll be collected this afternoon and taken to the airport to meet your onward flight.

Fiji’s wet season is from November to April with the heaviest rains and highest humidity from December to mid-April. The Dry season goes from May to October with low rainfall, low humidity, milder temperatures and less extreme weather. Peak season in Fiji includes December, January and June, July coinciding with Australian and New Zealand school holidays – prices will peak during these times.
