This morning your guide will meet you at your hotel to take you on a full day's sightseeing of Tokyo using the city's efficient train system to travel around.
You will have a private guide here meaning you can be totally flexible with your day however we recommed you start with a stroll through Hama-Rikyu Teien, the former private garden of an Edo Period lord. Try traditional Japanese green tea at the tea house which stands in the park's lake before taking a boat cruise along the Sumida River.
You will then get to explore Tokyo's old town, Asakusa is the city's oldest Geisha district and also the home to Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo's oldest buddhist temple - take a walk around the temple and have a look in the local souvenir shops for something to remember your trip!
This afternoon head over to Omotesando, boasting a multitude of fashion shops designed by international architects this is the perfect spot for an afternoon stroll before heading to Meiji Shrine, dedicated to the spirit of the late Emperor Meiji.
Today is a free day to explore the city, visit maid cafes in the electronics district, discover Tokyo's world-class museums and art galleries or head out of the city to Nikko, a mountainous area of Tochigi Prefecture known for its national park.
