Days 1 - 15: Highlights of Madagascar

Start your round the world trip with two weeks exploring the unique island of Madagascar on a group tour. Get lost of the wild beauty of the island, where forests of lemurs, tiny chameleons, local village culture and breath-taking beaches can be found. Fly to Ifaty to discover the west coast beaches before admiring the baobab trees in the Reniala Spiny Forest Reserve. From here you'll make your way back to Antananrivo over ten days, driving past Mahafaly tombs in the desert landscapes and towards the lush national parks in the middle of the country. Here you can swim in cascading waterfalls, look for dancing lemurs and look for tiny chameleons in the trees. Explore the Antsirabe Highlands, where you'll meet locals, explore villages and enjoy cooking lessons before finishing your trip in Andasibe National Park, where you'll search for lemurs, colourful chameleons and explore the canopy on a zipline.

Days 16 - 29: Discover Japan

After the wilds of Madagascar, you'll head to Asia, to spend two weeks to explore the cities and culture of Japan. First, you’ll explore the geisha district and classic gardens of Kanazawa, before staying in a traditional Japanese inn with its own onsen (hot spring) in Takayama. Then, you’ll continue to Hiroshima to visit the moving Peace Memorial and spend a day exploring the nearby island of Miyajima, with its famous floating torii gate. Next, you’ll head to Kyoto for three nights, to see the city at your own pace, before travelling to Fujikawaguchiko for unforgettable views of Mount Fuji. You’ll finish the trip back in Tokyo, with a free day to discover the highlights of the city.

Days 30 - 46: USA National Parks Explorer

Finish your trip with a spectacular 16 day adventure through the best of America's national parks. Start in Los Angeles before enjoying the stunning landscapes of Joshua Tree and Zion NPs. Admire the pink sandstone cliffs and gaze up at the stars each night as you travel through the South West to visit the orange hoodoos of Bryce Canyon, the swirling colours of Antelope Canyon and the vast buttes of Monument Valley. Soak up the incredible views over the Grand Canyon and the sparkling lights of Las Vegas before heading west towards the green mountains of California. Here you can witness the immense trees of Sequoia NP and the gushing waterfalls of Yosemite before finishing your trip in the iconic city of San Francisco. Hop on the cable car, watch sea lions play on the piers and enjoy delicious Mexican food in the Mission District.
