This trip can operate year-round; however please note that it will be very hot in the Red Centre during December, January and February. In northern Queensland, there are benefits to visits at any time of year! December to February signifies the ‘wet season’ which means wet and humid conditions. However, this also translates to very little wind and so excellent visibility in the water. The humidity drops in April onwards which is considered the start of the ‘dry season’ so it can be a cooler temperature but a little windier. October and November are peak dive months. The summer season in Sydney runs from November to March with hot sunny weather par for the course. Winter can bring cold and rainy conditions and runs from May to October.
