Sri Lanka is one of the most reliable surf destinations in the Indian Ocean. Since the early 60’s Sri Lanka has attracted surfers from all over the world with the surf points located on the south and east coasts with Hikkaduwa and Arugam Bay being the most popular.
There are many uncrowded “secret spots” to be found too, ask us for tips! The high season in the west-east (Hikkaduwa, Midigama etc.) is from November until March and then on the east coast (Arugam Bay) it's from May until September.

Why not spend a day trying out the Kuala Lumpur wave pool to break up the journey between flights?
It's the largest artificial wave pool in the world which offers consistent 4-8ft waves, you can catch up to 29 waves in one hour!
With our itinerary, you can travel overland through Indonesia from the Mentawais through to Lombok and catch waves in Sumatra, Java, Bali and more along the way!
The Mentawai Islands are off the West coast of Sumatra Indonesia are a chain of about 70 islands they are one of the most consistent surf destinations in the world and are widely known as the KING of surf destinations. They offer waves from beginner to pro and the best months to surf the Mentawais are from March to November.
From the Mentawais you can travel on to G-Land, another internationally renowned surf break in Grajagan Bay offering one of the world’s best left hand waves! From here the Bali breaks are only half a day away, where you can test yourself at Uluwatu entering through the famous cave or the dangerous and hollow wave of Padang Padang.
After busy Bali you can continue on to the quieter Kuta Lombok where they also have world class waves to be ridden!

The Mecca of surfing, with all abilities catered for! Our round the world trip offers the ultimate overland surf trip. Starting in Western Australia you can surf in Perth and then travel down to test your nerves a Margaret River.
Continue on and catch some waves in Esperance, then there’s Bells Beach and Tasmania to test out, leading on to the beaches and breaks of New South Wales, finishing in Brisbane, not too far from the surf town of Byron Bay.

She spent 3 months working on a specialist dive boat in the Whitsunday Islands, Australia getting her advanced certificate, exploring both the inner barrier reef and also the outer Great Barrier Reef where all the big things and untouched coral can be found! She has also spent time diving in Cairns, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines and enjoys spotting the big stuff.
