    Day 1: Arrive Amman

On arrival in Amman, you'll be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, checking in for one night.

Day 2: Amman & Mount Nebo

After breakfast, you'll head out with your guide to visit Mount Nebo, the supposed burial site of Moses, overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. You'll explore the 6th Century Byzantine church before visiting the Mosaic city of Madaba, where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of St George's Church.

In the afternoon, you'll visit Shobak Castle, built in 1115 to guard the road from Egypt to Damascas. It successfully resisted a number of sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189. After this, you'll be driven to Petra, ready to visit the iconic site tomorrow.

    Day 3: Petra

Today is dedicated to exploring the beautiful architecture and history of Petra, capital of the Nabateans. Walk through the Siq, a long parade into deep gorges to reach the Khazneh (Treasury), the most famous temple-tomb of Petra. After gazing up around this incredible sight, you'll head through the Wadi Farasa to see other tombs, including the Lion Fountain, the Garden Tomb and the "Renaissance" tomb. Spend the day learning from your guide about this ancient city, the people who lived here and carved rock that makes it so famous.

Day 4: Little Petra & Beidah

After breakfast, you'll continue your exploration of this unique area - heading 15 minutes drive from Petra to Little Petra & Beidah. Here you'll walk through the 8,000 year old excavated stone age village at Beidah and wander among the ruins of settlements of the biblical Edomites. In the afternoon, you'll head to Wadi Rum to soak up the desert and its awesome moon-like landscape. After checking into your glamping accommodation, you'll head out to enjoy a tour of the desert in the jeeps. This evening enjoy dinner under the stars, dining on local bedouin cuisine and gazing up at the Milky Way.

Day 5: Wadi Rum & the Dead Sea

Leaving Wadi Rum behind, you'll be driven over to the Dead Sea, with its’ year-round sunny skies and dry air, located in the Jordan Rift Valley. About 422 meters below sea level, this is one of the world's saltiest bodies of water and is incapable of accommodating any life. Here you can swim, simply floating on the top of the water enjoying a leisurely afternoon to relax.

In the afternoon, you'll head back to Amman for an afternoon tour of the capital of Jordan. Explore the Roman cities in the urban confederation known as the Decapolis, visit the Roman Theatre, the Citadel, the Folklore & the Archaeological Museums. Head out for dinner and enjoy your final night in Jordan.

     Day 6: Depart Amman

After breakfast, you'll head to the airport in time for your flight home.

With most of the country made up of desert, the summers can be scorching, so the best times to visit is Spring and Autumn. You can also enjoy winter holidays between November and February but nights can be very cold, as low as 5 degrees in Wadi Rum.
