The best time to visit Guatemala is during the dry season, from November to April, when days are generally sunny and warm, making it ideal for exploring the highlights of the country. Temperatures in the highlands are pleasantly mild year-round, although evenings can be surprisingly cool. The rainy season runs from May to October, bringing lush green landscapes and fewer visitors, with showers usually falling in the afternoon rather than all day.
