Beginning in Brisbane, enjoy a few days of downtime on Brisbane's urban beaches, before you collect the car and heading north. Stop off at Australia Zoo on the way to Noosa so the kids can see koalas or meet a wombat up close.
Your next stop is Noosa, where the whole family can relax and enjoy the national park and the Noosa Everglades for a couple of days. From here, you'll catch a ferry over to K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) to explore turquoise Lake McKenzie and the Champagne Pools on a 4WD tour.
Finish your time here with a stay on idyllic Hamilton Island where your kids can learn to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef, spot Nemo and play on the glorious white sand beaches of the Whitsundays!

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
On arrival in Brisbane, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, where you will check in for two nights.
Today is free for you to enjoy the city of Brisbane. Enjoy ice cream and stroll along the waterfront, ride the Citycat boat along the river or head to Streets Beach to take a dip in the lagoon. It’s free to visit the Gallery of Modern Art so why not pay a visit, before dinner at Eat Street where you can take delicious street food from all over the world.
This morning you’ll pick up your hire car and drive north to visit the Australia Zoo, made famous by Steve Irwin and home to hundreds of animals from Australia and the rest of the world. Children will be excited to spend the day seeing wombats, koalas, dingoes and possums. Take your time here, before driving onwards to Noosa, where you’ll check in for three nights.
You have two free days to enjoy the quiet coastline of Noosa. Get ready for endless beaches, and keep an eye out for whales swimming out in the ocean. Why not gather some supplies and enjoy a barbecue on the beach? The nearby Noosa Everglades are a highlight here - kayak or cruise along the narrow waterways that snake their way through the wetlands. Ask us if you'd like to add a day trip.
Today you’ll drive north to Hervey Bay, the entry point to K'gari. After parking your car, you’ll catch the ferry over to the island and check into your hotel for two nights.
You’ll enjoy a full day tour of the island today, from the comfort of a 4WD vehicle. Swim in the clear water of freshwater Lake McKenzie, hike through the brush box forests of the Pine Valley and explore the rusty shipwreck on Seventy Five Mile Beach – a day exploring this unique island will go by in a flash.
After breakfast, you’ll catch a ferry back to Hervey Bay where you’ll collect your car and drive back to Brisbane Airport. Board the short flight over to Hamilton Island, from where you'll be met and driven to your apartment, where your family will check in for five nights.
Enjoy your time relaxing in the paradise of Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef. Whether you choose to snorkel on the colourful reef, kayak through the clear waters or unwind at the beach, the whole family will fall in love with this island.
We’ve included a morning cruise to Whitehaven Beach, the most famous stretch of sand in the Whitsundays where you can relax and play for a couple of hours in this breathtaking scenery.
This morning you’ll be driven back to Hamilton Island airport for your flight home.
