All aboard! Board the Fiji Princess at Denarau Marina and enjoy afternoon tea as you cruise out to the outer Mamanucas. Your first destination is the secluded island of Modriki, where the Tom Hanks flick ‘Castaway’ was filmed, a real island paradise.
This evening enjoy cocktails and canapés on the sun deck while watching the sunset over the ocean and celebrate your first day on board.
Enjoy an early morning snorkel or take a stroll along Modriki Beach before cruising to the waters around Naviti and Soso Bay. After a delicious fresh lunch, you will head ashore for a visit to the Fijian village of Soso where you will be welcomed with a traditional kava ceremony. Take a tour of the town with one of the elders and learn more about traditional and modern Fijian life. This afternoon you will get the opportunity to watch a presentation on the local history and legends.
This evening back on the boat you will be served a ‘Thali’ buffet dinner and even get the chance to take part in some Bollywood Dancing.
Enjoy a lie in this morning or take an early morning swim before breakfast. Afterwards, you will be given the opportunity to attend a village church service, this unique experience is a chance to experience local life and is sure to be a highlight of your trip.
After lunch you will cruise to your next stop, on board, there will be chances to take part in a Fijian cooking lesson or try your hand at basket weaving. The ship will anchor at Naukacuva and Narara Islands, covered in dense forest which reaches right down to the white sandy beaches. The afternoon is free for you to relax, sunbathe or snorkel in the clear waters.
After cocktails and canapés on the sun deck, a buffet including both Fijian and European dishes will be served before a fun game of bingo and some great prizes!
Take part in an optional fishing trip this morning and work up an appetite before an a la carte breakfast to give you a great start to the day.
You will have a chance to snorkel, swim or kayak before departing Naukacuva and cruising on to the Sacred Islands. Lunch is served on board overlooking the islands before heading back to the mainland to continue your travels.
