On arrival in Kuala Lumpur, you'll be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, checking in for two nights.

Start your day with a guided walking tour of Kuala Lumpur, exploring the city’s rich mix of cultures and history using local transport. Wander through bustling Chow Kit Market, discover the traditional streets of Kampung Bahru, visit iconic landmarks including Masjid Jamek, Little India and Merdeka Square and enjoy a traditional local lunch. In the afternoon, you'll delve deeper into the city’s heritage with your guide, visiting Kuala Lumpur’s oldest Taoist and Hindu temples before heading back to the hotel to relax.
Today you'll enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the historic city of Malacca, where centuries of Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Indian and Malay influences have created a unique cultural blend. Wander through colonial landmarks, colourful temples and traditional neighbourhoods, sample local Peranakan cuisine, learn about the city’s rich heritage from your guide, the local museums and cultural settlements and finish with a scenic river cruise offering a different perspective on this fascinating city.
After breakfast, you'll leave the city behind as you are driven north towards Taman Negara National Park, a 130 million year old rainforest. After around 4 hours drive, you'll reach the jetty, before boarding a wooden longboat for the scenic float along the river to the lodge. Spend the afternoon settling in before heading out for a nocturnal guided night walk.
After breakfast, you'll head out for a full day excursion to Bukit Teresek, a canopy walk and Lata Berkoh. Bukit Teresek can be reached in about 45 minutes, and once you reached the top, you'll be rewarded with breath-taking views of Gunung Tahan and the forest canopy. The canopy walkway stretches about 500 metres at a height of 30 metres and offers a unique opportunity to experience the wilderness from a wholly new and fascinating vantage point. Following your canopy walk you will head to Lata Berkoh; a spectacular cascade with a deep pool below. There is a rocky area overlooking the rapids, which offers an ideal place to observe the natural beauty, relax and take in your surroundings.
Continuing your journey, you'll travel back across the river to make your way into the Cameron Highlands. Your journey will take you up through Brinchang and finally to the main town – Tanah Rata. Once here, you can settle into your hotel and spend the day enjoying your new environment and the peace the Cameron Highlands provides.
Spend the day discovering the natural beauty of the Cameron Highlands with an expert guide. Travel by 4WD through rolling tea plantations and into the misty mossy forests of Gunung Brinchang, where you'll learn about the region’s unique ecosystem and spot fascinating plant life, including orchids, pitcher plants and medicinal species. After lunch, enjoy a guided trek through the montane rainforest, exploring a variety of landscapes and gaining insight into the rainforest’s importance to local communities before returning to the hotel in the afternoon, ready to relax and soak up the peaceful views.
Your journey today will take you towards Ipoh, the road surrounded by towering, scenic rocky landscapes along the drive. Arriving in Ipoh, you'll check into your hotel for one night, before heading out to discover the rich history and heritage of the atmospheric old town. Visit impressive colonial landmarks including the Railway Station, Town Padang Mosque and Birch Memorial Clock Tower, stop for a coffee at a traditional café and wander through charming cobbled streets lined with colourful street art and restored heritage buildings. End your exploration at the lively Concubine Lane, known for its antiques, local culture and beautifully preserved architecture, before heading back to your hotel to relax.
Leaving Ipoh behind, you'll travel over to Penang, crossing the longest bridge in Asia to enter the island of Penang where you can check into your hotel for your two night stay.
Spend the day exploring Penang with your guide, discovering the many layers of Penang on a fascinating walking tour through the historic streets of Georgetown. Explore the city's rich cultural heritage, from ornate Chinese clan houses and the impressive Khoo Kongsi to the vibrant sights, sounds and aromas of Little India. Taste local specialities, admire the colonial architecture, spot colourful street art and learn about the diverse communities that have shaped Penang's unique identity. You'll head back to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring at your leisure.
