Spring and autumn are the best times to visit Istanbul, with cooler weather and smaller crowds than the summer months. Winter can be pleasant but there's a much higher chance of being caught in the rain. Luckily, Istanbul has lots of museums and other buildings to explore if the weather is wet. Summer's are dry and can be glorious but sometimes the heat can reach 35°C.
