Travel to Tétouan, a northern city in Morocco along the Martil Valley and a few miles south of the Strait of Gibraltar. Along the way the group will embark on a thrilling hike to Gite Monte Blanco (838 m) nestled amidst the rugged Rif Mountains and enjoy a picnic lunch from the top before the return trip. Arrive in Tetouane in the late afternoon for a walking tour of several historical landmarks throughout the city like El Feddan Square and the Royal Palace. Dinner is on your own.

In the morning leave Tetouan and travel to Chefchaouen, known for the’ striking blue-washed buildings of its old town. From the outskirts of town begin today’s hike through the scenic Rif Mountains passing small waterfalls and streams reaching the Spanish Mosque featuring amazing views of the city below. Then, take part in a hand-on goat cheese making experience with a local family and have lunch together sharing delicious traditional Moroccan dishes. When the group arrives back in Chefchaouen there will be a CEO-led walk through the ‘Blue City’.

Join your CEO guided visit of the blue city. Begin at the hotel and then climb up the stairs to explore the incredible blue streets. Pass by the historic Kasbah dating back to the 15th century and get to know this unique Moroccan city. Finish the walk at Rass Elma and climb to the Spanish Mosque to watch sunset glow over the tops of the Rif Mountains.
Start out today with a hike through the gorgeous scenery of the Rif Mountains. Walk through lush mountain scenery, passing small waterfalls and streams along the way. The group will also walk through villages and may be able to pick fresh figs from trees on their way (if in season). Enjoy lunch by the river at a local restaurant and then travel back to Chefchaouen for a free evening and dinner on your own.

Head to Fés, considered the cultural capital of the country and enjoy a guided medina tour through the Fés medina, which happens to be one of the largest in the world. Enter through one of the great gates and wander down some of the 9,000 winding streets found here. Observe local tannery workers from the balcony of a leather shop and take some time to search for meaningful souvenirs of your own. The rest of the evening is free to explore on your own.

Follow a local guide through the Fès medina, one of the world’s largest medinas with more than 9000 winding streets lying within 365 hectares. See buildings in the medina that date back to the 9th century; there are 350 mosques in the medina that are still in use today. Enter through one of the great gates into the chaos. Explore the artisans’ quarters as well as the many carpenters, bakers, butchers, and spice sellers. Visit the mausoleum and the Al Qarawiyin University. A highlight of the tour is the view of the famous Fès tannery from the balcony of a leather shop, where you can observe the men hard at work treating and dyeing the different hides. Take some time to shop for leather goods before returning to your hotel.
After the medina tour spend a free evening on your own exploring all that Fés has to offer.

Depart for Khenifra, a city in Northern Morocco surrounded by the Atlas Mountains. Along the way the group will stop for a hike with a local guide through cedar forest and past many scenic viewpoints for a total 15km. Afterwards, have lunch by the lake with a local family before continuing on to Khenifra. Dinner will be had at the hotel this evening.
Sit back and enjoy the scenery on your private vehicle between Fés and Khenifra. Please note the drive time is longer than normal as there will be a stop along the way.
On your way to Khenifra the group will stop for a guided hike that begins in a cedar forest and travels 13-15 km for 4 hours along trails through the woods with rocky and steeper sections. With an elevation gain between 224 and 274 m this hike is particularly scenic and rich in the area's flora and fauna. Enjoy lunch overlooking a lake with a local family.

Begin the drive to Ouaouizeght in the morning. Upon arrival to this small town and rural commune, the group will either visit the local marker or go to a shepherd’s house and do the shopping for lunch. Then relax by the nearby river, have a swim, and enjoy lunch with a local family before continuing on to Bin EL Ouidane. There will be free time here during sunset for optional lake activities.
Sit back and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of your private vehicle transfer from Khenifra to Bin El Ouidane with a stop along the way to Ouaouizeght.
Enjoy free time to partake in optional lake activities in Bin El Ouidane. Choose to kayak, take a boat out for a fishing ride, or simply watch sunset along the water for a palette of contrasting colours.
The group will visit the small town of Ouaouizeght in rural Morocco. Visit the local market or visit a shepherd's house and do the shopping with a local family for today's meal. Then, relax by the nearby river, have a swim, and enjoy a homemade lunch with your generous hosts.

Hike to Cathédrale Imsfrane and marvel at a natural environment resembling a cathedral carved by nature. Witness the towering rock formations up close that were sculpted through time by water and wind, and get a true taste of Morocco's rugged terrain.

Travel to Tiznit today, a town on the west coast of Morocco known for its silver jewelry, and mint daggers and sabres. Along the way stop at a local market for lunch on your own. Then, visit the local silver market upon arrival and the historic medina in Tiznit. Spend the remainder of the day on your own to explore the narrow alleys and hike in the town's gorgeous natural landscapes surrounded by mountains.
Enjoy a visit to the local Silver Market in the town of Tiznit, on Morocco's western coast. This bustling market feature artisans crafting detailed jewelry pieces using traditional methods. Watch the process and ask questions to your CEO as the demonstration continues. Tiznit is also home to a historic medina enclosed by 19th-century ramparts and the town is full of narrow alleys and traditional Moroccan houses adorned with colourful tiles and ornate doors.

Spend time on your own in Tiznit and explore the nature-lover's paradise. Hike along some of the nearby trails gain a true sense of the western Moroccan countryside where it just about meets the ocean.

Leave Tiznit behind and visit the small village of Kerdous where you’ll begin the hike to the remote Berber oasis of Amtoudi. Then proceed to the Icht, a small town on the edge of the Sahara desert. Meet your local guide and enjoy a tour of the village concluding with tea at your guide’s home. Have a group dinner tonight at the hotel.
Travel inland today via private vehicle between Tiznit and Icht. There will be stops along the way.
Visit the village of Kerdous in the serene environment of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Then begin the hike to the Amtoudi granaries and village itself and experience the Berber ways of storage.

Travel to Zagora today and get to know this getaway town to the stunning Erg Chigaga, one of Morocco’s largest dune expanses. Arrive in the early afternoon and enjoy free time for lunch on your own before the walk with your local guide to the comfortable desert camp. Enjoy welcome tea and pastries while you watch the sunset. Dinner will be served tonight at camp before music around the bonfire. Make sure you do some night sky gazing in a place with little light pollution.
Sit back and relax as you enjoy the ride by private bus from Icht to the desert landscape pf Zagora. There will be stops along the way and plenty of time to find a place to eat lunch on your own in the charming town of Foum Zguid.
After arriving to Zagora the group will walk through the desert landscape for about 2 hrs before having some welcome tea while enjoying a Moroccan sunset. Dinner will be had back at camp with the whole group and then you'll have a bonfire under the stars.

Witness sunrise in the desert then have breakfast before departing camp via a camel ride through the dunes. Arrive to the home of a local family for a traditional welcome before the cooking demonstration of Medfouna and Tajin, along with a CEO-guided bread making station. Enjoy lunch together with the host family before travelling back to the town of Zagora to freshen up at the hotel before a group dinner.
Hold on and enjoy a ride on this even-toed ungulate, also known as the desert horse. Bring your camera for some fantastic photos of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Enjoy a welcome with dates and milk from your host family and learn more about Moroccan sweets and dry fruits. Afterwards, begin the cooking demonstration for the regional dishes of Medfouna and Tajin, and take part in the steps to create a delicious traditional meal for everyone to try.

In the morning begin your travels to Aït Ben Haddou. Stop along the way in Ouarzazate where the Atlas Film Studio is and take some free time for lunch on your own. Arrive at Aït Ben Haddou in the late afternoon and visit the Ksar, a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls. Enjoy the sunset at this spot before having dinner at the hotel with the group.

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site and kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, tne most famous ksar in the Ounila Valley, located in the foothills of the southern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains. Of all the remaining kasbahs in Morocco, the walls and interior of this area are the most intact. It's a collective grouping of dwellings inside defensive walls and was once one of the many trading posts on the route linking Sudan to Marrakech. The kasbah still houses a few families, but many now live in the adjacent village. Like many of the earthen built fortresses in Ouarzazate, Aït Ben Haddou has been used in many film and television productions like Gladiator, Babel, and Game of Thrones.

Transfer to the town of Demnat this morning and embark on a hike from this cultural crossroads to the Imi nifri Waterfalls and impressive natural bridge. Arrive at Aït Bouguemez in the late afternoon and enjoy this beautiful part of Morocco in the High Atlas Mountains with its strong ties to Berber culture and traditions.
Sit back and enjoy the drive between Aït Ben Haddou and Aït Bouguemez with a stop along the way for a hike.
Hike to the “door to the cave” or Imi n’fri in the local Berber dialect. This natural rock bridge was formed by the collapse of an underground cave system. Hike for about an hour and half total and take in this impressive natural phenomenon from above and below, where the Wadi Méhasseur flows between the sheer, vertical rock walls. Walk down the steps to the cave and perhaps take a dip in the cold waters for a quick refreshing swim.

Begin today’s hike around the valley and to the Granary of Tabat in the morning. Then have lunch with a local family before a free evening to enjoy the area on your own. Dinner is included at the hotel tonight.
Enjoy free time in the beautiful valley setting of Aït Bouguemez on your own in the late afternoon and evening.
The Aït Bouguemez valley is enclosed by the towering High Atlas Mountains and a beautiful patchwork of fields stretched across the banks of a river. All throughout those fields are Berber villages continuing a traditional way of life. Walk through the valley on this hike and climb a nearby hill to visit the collective granary and learn a bit about the history of the structure and how the local villages utilized it to protect their harvests.

Head back to Marrakech today stopping by a G for Good project along the way for an introduction to the work being done in the local community. The tour ends upon arrival in Marrakech.

On the way back to Marrakech the group will stop at the Akrich Project for a visit and to learn more about the work this G Adventures-supported initiative is doing to support the local community and preserve cultural heritage. First see the organic tree nursery started alongside a historic Jewish cemetery as well as the Aboghlo Women's Cooperative to have lunch and talk with the women who are gaining financial independence here as part of the community. We were to accompany an American visitor, Morton Strauss, to two locations – Akrich, where a HAF organic tree nursery was started in 2012 alongside an historic Jewish cemetery, and the Aboghlo Women’s Cooperative, a HAF partner in the Ourika valley.
