The Cambridge is in a central area of Sydney know as Surry Hills (not a typo - they really do miss out the 'e' in Surrey!). This is a pleasant and gay friendly area of town. If you turn right out the hotel and walk for 2 minutes, you will find yourself on Oxford St. Whichever way you walk along Oxford Street, the area feels safe and inviting and buzzes with Café's, restaurants, boutique clothes shops and art shops. This is a good area for that pre-dinner stroll while you check out where you want to eat.  The Cambridge is a smart modern, small - medium sized hotel in a nice area of town that is excellent value for money for its star rating and is one of Travel Nation's best selling hotels in Sydney.
