    Visit Tangkuban Prahu, a stunning active volcano located in West Java, Indonesia. You can view the crater, steaming sulfur vents, and expansive panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The volcano, known for its distinctive shape resembling an upturned boat (tangkuban prahu), is also rich in local legends. Hike to Kawah Domas, an easy to medium trel, through the forest for around 1.2 kilometers. The first 900 meters of the 1200-meter hike to Kawah Domas is relatively easy, as it follows a slightly sloping dirt path. After crossing a bridge, the trail slopes downward and includes several stairs at some points. Overall, the hike is not that difficult.

    We'll rise before the sun today in order to catch a beautiful sunrise atop Setumbu Hill.     An early morning jeep ride is the best way to see the Bromo Crater this morning. Followed by a 45 minute hike to reach Penanjakan Hill view point just in time for sunrise! Admire the oranges and pinks before continuing the hike through the Sea of Sands to the top of Bromo Crater. Enjoy a picnic breakfast at Teletubbies Hill. Return to Ngadas Village for a walking tour (and maybe a coffee?) to see the temples, the tomb of mbah Sedek and the holy forest.     Our Lombok adventure begins today as we take a ferry leaving Bali and arriving to Lombok in the late morning. Make your way north of Mt Rinjani and stop in Senaru where we'll be accompanied by a local tour guide who is part of the Rinjani Women Guide association. Head out on an easy trek passing small hamlets where age-old traditions still are in practice, gaining insight into the colourful village life of the Sasak. There is always something interesting happening here as you meet local people and admire traditional houses along the way.
